iHola chicos! Hoy es Mardi Gras.

That means "Hi people! Today is Mardi gras." in Spanish. Mardi Gras in French actually means Fat Tuesday not Grey Tuesday so maybe someone editted it in Wikipedia. Mardi gras in Spanish would be Martes Grasa so I actually used both Spanish and French in the first sentence. That would probably be the only French word I know besides "oui".

Actually by the time this is posted up, it's Thursday. But whatever.

My Chinese New Year was rather depressing. At first. Shall tell you why it's just "at first" at the end.

Had to go to aunt's chinese school really early the day before CNY cause they had performances.

Besides being near dying out of boredom, and being constantly followed and thrown at with ice blocks by an 11 year old who one can only assume likes me, cause you know how little kids tend to annoy you when they like you right? right. I should include that he even shoved a crab head at my face in a restaurant after the performances.

Old people doing a skit. You know that story where blind people touch different parts of an elephant and start assuming their right about what they think it is? Yea. Hence the the paper board of an elephant at the back.

Then on Chinese New Year, I went..

Chinatown.

Which has caused me to possibly shorten my life span by a year because of the noise and air pollution.


It was cold. Bloody cold. I had no mood whatsoever to take a picture but she made me.


See? She even made Bren take a picture with her when we were all freezing to death. What did I tell you.

Looks like it's checking if the cabbage is fresh.


And now it looks like they are fighting over it. Or possibly worshipping the cabbage, depending on how you look at it.


These people in yellow had these bamboo sticks trying to create a barrier from the crowd and the dragons, going "please back up a little~" while no one actually really listened, which is why they have the bamboo stick. To 'gently' push the crowd away. -.-

And they basically did the same thing over and over again, see lettuce, dance a little, set firecrackers off, eat lettuce, dance a little more, get angpau from shopkeeper, and proceed to next open shop, and repeat said.

Sounds like I had such fun on CNY right wtf. No angpau, No gambling after receiving angpau, no chinese fan biscuit in those milo tin to eat.

Okay so remember i said CNY was depressing at first?

Well cause someone won a limo ride to prom on Chinese New Year!!!!!

Inside was just full of envelopes wtf. But worth lotsa $$ so I'm not complaining.
